Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Limon, CO, for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students from PreK through 12th grade. This role requires professionals who hold CCC certification in Speech-Language Pathology and have experience working within school settings.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students. Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate on student goals. Delivering both direct and indirect speech therapy services tailored to individual student needs. Supporting CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates through supervision and mentorship.
Qualifications and desired experience:
Valid CCC-SLP certification. Experience working with school-aged children across PreK-12 grade levels. Knowledge of educational and therapeutic strategies applicable to diverse student populations. Ability to manage caseload efficiently within a school environment. Commitment to working onsite full-time during school hours (37.5 hours per week). This contract position spans from August 3, 2026, through May 29, 2027, and provides an engaging educational environment to enhance your professional skills. The placement allows for onsite interactions only, ensuring direct involvement with students and educational teams.
