Prendergast School The Extended School year programs are for students Pre-K through post graduate.
Hired staff hours:
AHS 7:45-11:15 PES 8:15-11:45 MES 8:45-12:15 Teacher certification required. Special Education Certification required. Candidates must demonstrate understanding of specialized instructional, learning process and flexibility to work with students with special needs. Direct experience in and certification for the grade level sought is preferred. Candidates must be willing to work collaboratively with related service providers as well as students completing their internships from a local University. Candidates should be familiar with and comfortable maintaining the students goals/objectives, accommodations and modifications of the students. Interested candidates please complete the internal application and email a letter of intent to Sherri Marquardt, Director of Extended Day (smarquardt@ansonia.org).
