The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about helping students with diverse learning needs succeed both in school and in life. Full-Time and Part-Time (3 days/week) positions available. Part-time hours would ideally be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 11-3:30, or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9:30-2. Responsibilities Provide individualized instruction for students in grades 6-12+ Develop IEP goals and objectives related to student areas of growth Implement instruction aligned with students' IEP goals and objectives Collaborate closely with the educational, vocational, and clinical team Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to support growth Foster a supportive, respectful classroom environment Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field Connecticut Special Education certification (required) Experience working with middle or high school students with diverse learning needs Familiarity with IEPs and individualized instruction Benefits Supportive and collaborative school culture Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives 401(k) plan with employer contribution after one year of employment Please note: Health benefits are not currently offered.
