Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Previous experience in a special education setting, preferably with neuro-diverse or high school-aged students Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Familiarity with differentiated instruction and accommodations Excellent communication and classroom management skills Collaborative approach to working with team members and families

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver individualized lessons according to student IEPs in a self-contained classroom Develop and adapt curriculum to support academic and social success for neuro-diverse learners Foster a supportive, respectful, and stimulating classroom culture Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to meet student goals Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed Maintain compliance with all special education documentation and processes This contract position aligns with regular school hours from 7:35 AM to 2:30 PM, offering a predictable and balanced work schedule.
