Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification Proven experience working with middle school students, preferably in a resource or inclusion classroom Strong classroom management and collaboration skills Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs Ability to modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs Team player mindset with excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and small group instruction to 7th grade students in a resource classroom Develop, implement, and track IEP goals and accommodations Collaborate with general educators, families, and related service providers Monitor student progress and adjust instructional techniques as needed Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
