A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Summary We are so excited that you are interested in joining the LLA family! We are a small family focused preschool located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. We are all about being a school family, working together to provide a fun education environment for everyone that walks through the door!
Current Positions Open:
  • One Year Old Teacher Duties Caring for 9 one year olds throughout the day with co
  • teacher Lesson Plan for one year olds that include: art, sensory, circle time, table top activities, outside time Creating a safe and nurturing environment in a classroom with no co-teachers and small class sizes
  • Supervise children both indoors and outdoors at all times Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents Organize and create activities and play-based learning experiences to engage children in the learning process Maintain a clean and organized classroom Work inter professionally with other teachers and staff If you are enthusiastic about shaping young minds and making a difference in the lives of children, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Preschool Teacher.
