(SFACS) is seeking passionate, dedicated ESE Certified Teachers to join our growing team for the 2026-2027 school year. SFACS is a nationally recognized organization serving students with profound autism through small class sizes, individualized instruction, and a collaborative, therapeutic approach. Starting salary is $51,150 , with higher placement based on verified experience in accordance with the Miami-Dade County Public Schools salary schedule for newly hired teachers.

Compensation:
$51,500 - $60,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver individualized instruction aligned with student needs, IEP goals, and curriculum standards. Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies, including ABA principles, multi-sensory instruction, and community-based learning to support student growth. Monitor, assess, and document student academic, behavioral, and functional progress; maintain required records and data collection. Develop, implement, and review IEP goals, accommodations, and individualized programs in collaboration with parents and multidisciplinary team members. Foster a safe, structured, and positive learning environment that promotes student independence, social skills, and appropriate behavior. Support students with daily living skills, personal care needs, assistive technology, and other functional skills as required. Participate in professional development, staff meetings, school events, and other duties as assigned while maintaining compliance with school policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Valid Florida Educator Certificate or Statement of Eligibility in
ESE K-12
required. Certification in ESE K-12, Elementary Education (K-3, K-6, or K-12), or a related teaching field required. Autism and ESOL Endorsements are preferred but not required at the time of hire. Support and assistance provided for obtaining required certifications and endorsements. Must successfully complete background screening through Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
