Faith-Based Residential Children's Home | Trauma & Behavioral Support | Working Ranch Environment >>> Are you a mature, grounded Christian with experience working with challenging youth? My Father's Arrows is looking for dependable men and women who can combine compassion with structure, maintain strong professional boundaries, remain calm under pressure, and build meaningful relationships with children who have experienced significant trauma.

— My Father's Arrows Ministry is looking for responsible Christians (living according to Biblical standards and My Father's Arrows Statement of Faith), that identify with our core values and mission.

•This position is full time status for Mon-Fri (8:30am-4:30pm). All applicants must be ready and able to work these days/hours. We need individuals capable of utilizing a balance of nurturing and loving approach, healthy professional boundaries, and structure, to provide a safe, therapeutic setting for boys and girls deeply impacted by trauma. The teachers here play a key role in our holistic philosophy of care by using a team-oriented, trauma informed approach in the care of our children. Our challenge as a team is to minister to the "whole" child. A calm and controlled demeanor is absolutely essential for this ministerial role. You will teach and care for a small group of boys, not only in academics, but also to foster their character development, spiritual growth, emotional growth, social skills, coping skills, and help them learn valuable life skills. Our teachers work in small groups with 1 teacher to 5-6 children giving 1:1 instruction.

•We can provide teaching certification in our curriculum, Christian Light Education. We are a working ranch, and our children and staff work with horses daily and have a lot of outdoor activities. Experience with horses, gardening, camping, and/or coaching is highly favored. Previous experience in the military , education, mental health, and/or special needs care is very helpful as well. We're looking for staff who feel God's call to serve with children. This is a distinctively ministerial role. We are a Christian, faith-based organization who care for children who have been deeply affected by trauma through abuse, neglect, abandonment, or rejection.

Requirements:

must be over 21 high school diploma or GED must pass a thorough background screening, and drug testing must have a current driver's license, and maintain an excellent driving record must be reliable, with a strong work ethic must be professional with healthy boundaries and strong morals must be spiriturally grounded and prepared to actively minister to children must attend worship services with children when on shift must have good communication skills must be teachable and able to multi-task must have knowledge of trauma-informed care must be safely able to lift 50 lbs must have 3 solid references, (your pastor, your friend or neighbor, your previous employer) If you're a servant hearted Christian that is ready to make a difference in the life of a child, we would love to hear from you!

Pay:

$15.00 - $15.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
