In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to child welfare will help lay a strong foundation for children's future academic success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while fostering their love for learning through engaging activities and thoughtful lesson planning. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards Experience with Creative Curriculum Create a vibrant classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschool-aged children. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining a positive behavior management system. Conduct assessments of children's developmental progress through standardized testing and informal observations to tailor instruction effectively. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, attendance, and behavioral reports in compliance with childcare regulations. Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool or toddler-aged children in daycare or private school settings. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Experience in curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math, physical education Familiarity with classroom management tools and teaching physical education activities suitable for young children. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
