Job Summary Kreative Kids Christian Academy is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and adaptable Part-Time Floater Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Kreative Kids Christian Academy is a Christian, faith-based childcare environment. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a faith-centered setting and who will help support the caring, positive, and nurturing values of our program. As a Floater Teacher, you will provide essential support throughout our classrooms, working with different age groups and assisting lead teachers as needed. You will help create a safe, structured, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with supervising children across different classrooms while ensuring their safety and well-being. Support lead teachers with classroom routines, activities, and age-appropriate learning experiences. Engage children in play, learning activities, and positive social interactions. Maintain clean, organized, safe, and welcoming classroom environments. Move between classrooms and age groups as staffing needs require. Communicate professionally and positively with families and fellow team members. Follow established health, safety, emergency, and child-protection procedures. Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to maintain consistent daily operations. Qualifications & Skills Must be 18 years of age or older . Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, early childhood, babysitting, or similar setting is preferred. Must be dependable, patient, caring, and adaptable. Ability to work effectively with different ages and transition between classrooms as needed. Strong communication and classroom-management skills. Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices is preferred. CPR and pediatric first-aid certification preferred. Must complete the required DCF 45-hour courses and other required training . Must successfully pass a Level II background screening . Must be comfortable working within a Christian, faith-based environment . Schedule & Compensation This is a part-time position Morning and Afternoon shifts available, including additional hours on days when public schools are closed. Hours may vary, with opportunities for additional hours when available. Opportunities as such include vacation or staff coverage!

This is a family friendly schedule. NO weekends OR major holiday's required!!
Pay:
