Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 1 Year Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants turning one year old. Your primary focus will be fostering developmental milestones through engaging activities, personalized care, and effective communication with both children and their families. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence young lives during a crucial stage of growth, ensuring each child feels safe, supported, and inspired to explore their world. Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum development that promotes physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth for one-year-olds Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and well-being throughout the day Manage classroom dynamics with effective behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and independence Conduct child development instruction aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment following childcare regulations and health protocols including first aid and CPR readiness Document lesson planning, daily activities, and developmental assessments to track each child's growth trajectory Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings or daycare environments Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Experience in curriculum development tailored for early learners, especially those in the one-year-old age group Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children using strong communication skills Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations in childcare settings Experience teaching physical education or literacy education suitable for infants or toddlers is a plus Join us in shaping the earliest experiences of our youngest learners!
