Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and support learners across diverse developmental stages and special needs. In this role, you will design engaging lesson plans, implement individualized instruction, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth, independence, and confidence. Your expertise will help students develop essential skills in literacy, math, communication, social-emotional regulation, and functional life skills. Responsibilities Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that meet each student's Individualized Education Program goals, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations. Utilize educational technology and learning tools effectively to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies and behavioral therapy techniques to create a safe and inclusive environment. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and successes to foster strong home-school partnerships. Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists (such as speech therapists or occupational therapists), and support staff to coordinate instruction and share best practices. Conduct assessments, standardized testing, and progress monitoring to evaluate student development and inform instructional planning. Experience Proven classroom experience working with children in educational settings such as public or private schools or early intervention programs. Experience integrating educational technology tools for instruction in literacy, math, physical education, music therapy or recreational therapy. Knowledge of behavior management techniques for students with behavioral health needs or developmental challenges. Background in early childhood education or preschool settings is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Pay:
From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
