Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Teacher with an active Child Development Associate (CDA ) credential to join our dynamic early childhood education team. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Your expertise in early childhood development, combined with your enthusiasm for working with children, will help shape positive learning experiences that promote growth and curiosity. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and promote holistic development Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social-emotional growth Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Collaborate with families and peers to support each child's individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services Conduct assessments to monitor progress and prepare documentation for standardized testing and developmental milestones Facilitate lesson planning sessions that incorporate Montessori methods and other innovative teaching techniques Maintain accurate records of attendance, child welfare concerns, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with licensing standards Requirements Active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent certification in early childhood education Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including toddler care and classroom management Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education methods Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families Experience working with diverse populations, including children with special needs or those requiring additional support Ability to create engaging activities that incorporate math, physical education, and Montessori principles Prior experience in private school or daycare settings is preferred Must be a team player- this work environment is not just a clock in clock out type of job it is for dedicated professionals who want to be part of a school family Join us to inspire young minds through active teaching practices that foster curiosity and confidence!
