The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their academic and social development. This position involves developing lesson plans, implementing educational activities, and assessing student progress while ensuring a positive classroom atmosphere. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Utilize learning technology to enhance the educational experience. Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide feedback for improvement. Support early intervention strategies for students requiring additional assistance. Foster a love of learning by incorporating creative teaching methods. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational environment. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in educational practices. Provide library services and resources to support student learning. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including special education needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field; CDA or equivalent in experience. Experience in early childhood education is a plus. Knowledge of childhood development principles and education administration practices. Familiarity with special education strategies and resources is desirable.
