In this vital role, you will design and implement individualized educational plans that foster growth across academic, social, behavioral, and life skills. Your expertise will help children reach their full potential through innovative teaching strategies, therapeutic interventions, and collaborative teamwork. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families while working within a dynamic educational setting. Duties Develop and execute personalized lesson plans Implement evidence-based instructional strategies such as applied behavior analysis, speech therapy techniques, and behavioral management to support diverse learning needs. Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress, share insights, and adjust instructional approaches accordingly. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management plans tailored for students with autism and other disabilities. Incorporate sensory activities and visual supports to create a comprehensive learning experience. Document student progress meticulously through assessments and detailed reports to inform ongoing instruction and compliance documentation. Requirements Bachelor's degree in special education, childhood development, psychology or related field; advanced certifications in autism spectrum disorders or related specialties preferred. Proven experience working with children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or related conditions in classroom or therapeutic settings. Strong knowledge of special education law (including IEP development), instructional modifications, and educational compliance standards. Familiarity with speech therapy techniques, behavioral therapy methods such as ABA, and assistive learning technology integration. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, team members, and external professionals. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to create a safe, supportive environment conducive to learning for students with diverse needs. Ability to adapt lessons for learners who are deaf or visually impaired; experience in education. Join us in transforming lives through innovative education!
