KinderCare is seeking a Senior Teacher for our Cambridge School at Wellington. In this role, you will lead a high-quality classroom, implementing Cambridge-aligned curriculum to inspire young learners. You will design engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons, foster a safe and inclusive environment, and assess children's progress. The Senior Teacher mentors classroom staff, partners closely with families, and collaborates with school leadership. Responsibilities Lead daily instruction in alignment with Cambridge curriculum standards and Kinder Care practices. Design engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and learning activities. Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment for all children. Assess children's progress and document developmental milestones. Communicate regularly with families about student learning and well-being. Mentor and support assistant teachers and classroom staff. Collaborate with school leadership on curriculum implementation and center initiatives. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Participate in professional development and continuous learning opportunities. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented school culture.
