  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten) Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their critical early childhood years.
In this role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Your expertise in early childhood education will help prepare children for kindergarten and set a foundation for lifelong learning. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support child welfare and emotional growth. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including toddler care, preschool experiences, and special education techniques for diverse learners. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor instruction to individual student needs. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support early intervention efforts and ensure each child's developmental milestones are met. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. Incorporate teaching physical education, tutoring sessions, and literacy education into daily routines to foster well-rounded development. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting, preferably within preschool or private school environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with curriculum development across multiple domains such as math, literacy education, and Montessori methods. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to manage classroom dynamics efficiently while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all students. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
