Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Requirements:
Active GA TVI Licensure/Certification Active GA Educator Certificate Previous school-based visual impairment experience preferred Experience supporting Braille instruction and Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) preferred Ability to participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and Medicaid billing where applicable
Job Details:
Full Time•up to 30 hours per week
Caseload:
Students requiring visual impairment services Provide direct and consultative TVI services in a school-based setting Support Braille instruction and Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) needs Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Start/End Dates:
July 31, 2026•June 3, 2027 Pay rate: $40-45 per hour
