Job Description

Overview HealthPro Pediatrics is looking for a Therapy Support Aide to join our school team in Covington, GA! You'll monitor and support students receiving services from our Speech Language Pathologist and Psychologist by providing instructional, behavioral, and organizational support to students and staff while helping facilitate classroom activities, student services, or program coordination under the direction of teachers and administrators!

Responsibilities Student Instruction & Support Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce lessons Assist students with assignments, academic skills, and social/behavioral needs Support students with disabilities and help implement IEP accommodations including behavior strategies and plans Assist with monitoring student behavior to help maintain a safe and structured learning environment Communicate student needs and progress Classroom Facilitation Help organize and facilitate classroom activities and routines Assist with lesson setup, transitions, and instructional activities Support teachers in delivering instruction effectively Prepare instructional materials (copies, centers, displays) Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, organizing supplies, and help maintain an orderly classroom environment Program & Staff Support and Collaboration Help coordinate or support student interventions, classroom programs or learning activities, work with teachers and staff to ensure consistency in instruction and support, may help guide or support other aides or substitutes when assigned Collect data on student performance, behavior, and assist with maintaining records and documentation as directed Work closely with Teachers, Administrators, Special Education staff, and Related service providers Supervision Duties Monitor students during class activities, lunch, recess, arrival/dismissal, ensure student safety throughout the school day Qualifications High school diploma or GED Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate (or eligibility requirements)
