This full-time role runs from 9 am to 6 pm, providing an engaging and nurturing environment for young learners. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic classroom atmosphere that promotes childhood development, literacy, and social-emotional skills. Your leadership will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow while ensuring a safe and supportive space. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives through innovative teaching methods and personalized care, all while working in a positive, energetic environment that values your expertise. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to early childhood education standards, including Montessori and other pedagogical approaches. Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills among children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers. Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and emotional well-being. Design engaging lesson plans focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to communicate children's progress and address individual developmental requirements. Oversee classroom management ensuring safety protocols are followed diligently; supervise assistants and volunteers as needed. Incorporate specialized knowledge in special education, child welfare, daycare practices, and standardized testing to enhance educational outcomes. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare centers or preschools. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Strong background in childhood development principles and classroom management techniques tailored for young learners. Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members; excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Familiarity with toddler care practices and preschool experience that emphasizes child welfare and developmental milestones. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and tutoring strategies to support individual student growth in core subjects like math and literacy.
