Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid credentials as a Special Education Teacher Demonstrated experience in adaptive or individualized instructional methods Strong ability to modify general curriculum to meet student-specific requirements Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Genuine commitment to fostering student growth in a supportive environment Familiarity with developing and implementing
IEPs Responsibilities:
Create and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to students' individual strengths and needs Assess student progress and document outcomes to support ongoing development Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic learning Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom climate that encourages participation and confidence Use a variety of instructional techniques and assistive technology as needed Monitor and adjust strategies based on data and student feedback Uphold all compliance and confidentiality standards and participate in meetings as required
