Summer Camp inclusive Camp teacher KidzWise.com Snellville, GA 30078 $16.50 - $19.00 an hour - Temporary, Full-time $16.50 - $19.00 an hour - Temporary, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Summer Camp Inclusive Teacher to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive environment for children of diverse abilities during our summer camp program. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster growth, confidence, and joy among campers while ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives through creative activities, personalized support, and collaborative teamwork. Schedule will be from 9:30 - 5:00pm , Duties Develop and implement inclusive lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of children with various abilities, ensuring all participants are actively engaged. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies to promote respect, cooperation, and safety. Provide direct support to children with special education needs, adapting activities as necessary to facilitate participation and success. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including administering basic first aid when required. Collaborate with camp staff, parents, and specialists to monitor each child's progress and address any behavioral or developmental concerns. Lead engaging activities that incorporate arts, sports, theater, and other creative outlets to foster childhood development and social skills. Support the overall camp experience by assisting in daily routines such as mealtime supervision, transitions, and outdoor play. Skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices. Experience working with children in childcare settings, including daycare or camp environments. Familiarity with special education strategies and behavior management techniques. Ability to provide first aid and respond effectively in emergency situations. Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and team members. Passion for working with children and fostering inclusive participation in all activities. Experience in tutoring, babysitting, sports coaching or theater is a plus for enriching camp activities. Understanding of Christian counseling or similar supportive approaches is beneficial but not required. Join us this summer to inspire young minds in a lively setting where every child feels valued!
