Instructional Strategist II:
ID) to support students with intellectual disabilities. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive and reach their full potential across all grade levels.
Terms of Employment:
Contract Salary:
$50,000+ (BA, 04, 1.0 FTE, 20252026 Salary Schedule)
Qualifications:
Must have or be able to obtain a valid Iowa teaching license and endorsement Must be able to provide required I-9 documentation to verify eligibility to work in the
United States Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Experience working with students with intellectual disabilities Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs and support individualized education programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented
Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and support for students with significant needs Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Implement and monitor IEP goals and accommodations Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Follow planned curriculum and adapt as needed to meet student goals Work under the supervision of building and special education leadership
