Job Description

Anticipated Part-Time Special Education Teacher Ruthven-Ayrshire Community School District is seeking applicants for an anticipated part-time Special Education Teacher position for the upcoming school year.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold or be eligible for appropriate Iowa teaching licensure with Special Education endorsement Demonstrate strong instructional and classroom management skills Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, parents, and administration Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all students Responsibilities include: Providing specialized instruction and interventions for students receiving special education services Supporting student achievement in academic, social, and behavioral areas Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration Maintaining compliance with state and federal special education requirements Ruthven-Ayrshire CSD offers a supportive educational environment committed to student success and professional collaboration.
