Job Description
We are seeking a special education teacher who currently holds Strat II endorsement in special education. We will work with any teachers who are interested in growing in to this position who may hold a general education licenses currently and willing to apply for a conditional (temporary license) This person should attain a caring and positive mindset to work with students/parents and build a classroom environment that making mistakes are how we learn and establish boundaries! This role is designed for an educator who understands that 3rd grade is the critical bridge for development of writing and math concepts prior to entering 4th grade. This candidate will be supported by 2 general education 3rd grade teachers who also teach 3rd grade and will build capacity to learn with a PLC lead by experienced instructional coach and building administration.
