Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful difference as a Special Education Teacher working onsite in a supportive school environment near Cascade, ID. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active Special Education Teaching License for Idaho required Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher Background facilitating individualized instruction and supporting students with diverse abilities Familiarity with Life Skills curriculum is highly valued Strong communication skills to partner with families, fellow educators, and support staff Organized, patient, and dedicated to fostering student growth
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with varying needs in a Life Skills classroom Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring all learning goals and accommodations are met Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service providers Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and participate in IEP meetings Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that maximizes student learning and independence Engage with parents and guardians to encourage continued progress at home and in the community This full-time role offers competitive weekly pay, along with health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
