Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned to grade-level standards in core subject areas (reading, writing, math, science, and social studies) Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students, including those with disabilities, English learners, and advanced learners Implement inclusive practices that ensure students with disabilities have meaningful access to grade-level content and are supported within the general education setting Collaborate closely with special education staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and student goals Foster a positive, respectful classroom community that values diversity, promotes kindness, and encourages student voice Use data and formative assessments to monitor student progress and guide instructional decisions Maintain clear, consistent communication with families regarding student progress, expectations, and classroom activities Work as an active, supportive member of a grade-level team by participating in planning, problem-solving, and data-driven conversations Contribute to a collaborative school culture by sharing ideas, supporting colleagues, and maintaining flexibility when team needs arise Establish and reinforce clear behavioral expectations using proactive classroom management strategies
