Job Description

This position is also eligible for a $10,000 hard-to-fill stipend! Essential duties
  • Design and deliver individualized academic instruction aligned with IEP goals
  • Implement positive behavior supports, behavior intervention plans, and de-escalation strategies with fidelity
  • Create a highly structured, predictable classroom environment that promotes safety and emotional regulation
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with students through consistency, empathy, and clear expectations
  • Collaborate daily with paraprofessionals, behavior staff, and service providers
  • Collect and analyze data to inform instruction and behavioral supports
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and problem-solving discussions
  • Model calm, professional responses during moments of student escalation
