Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active Special Education Teacher certification with LBS1 endorsement (Illinois) Must possess a valid IEIN number Previous K-2 experience preferred Strong understanding of cross-categorical special education needs Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Responsibilities/Duties:
Deliver engaging instruction in an on-site, self-contained classroom setting (K-2) Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to maximize student potential Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines
