Qualifications and Experience:
Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement or equivalent Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication and organizational skills Collaborative mindset for coordinating with teachers, support staff, and families Familiarity with current teaching methodologies and assistive technology
Key Responsibilities:
Create and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to students' unique strengths and challenges Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet evolving needs Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in compliance with regulations Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and related service providers Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student achievements and goals
