Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification for K-2. Demonstrated experience working with elementary special education students, preferably in grades K-2. Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance. Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families. Commitment to engaging instructional strategies that motivate and support every learner.

Role Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students. Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment tailored to each student's unique strengths and needs. Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success. Assess and document student progress, adapting instruction as needed. Participate in school meetings, professional development, and ongoing program planning.
