$55.00/hr Birch Agency is Hiring! Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join a school-based team near Elgin for the 20262027 school year . This is a full-time opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to helping students with visual impairments achieve academic success and independence. Position Details Full-time, school-based position 20262027 academic year Competitive pay starting at $55.00 per hour Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments Qualifications Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Endorsement Previous school-based experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments Conduct assessments and monitor student progress Adapt instructional materials to meet student needs Support student access to the curriculum and promote independence Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student success Why Join Birch Agency?
