Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active certification and credentials as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired Previous experience with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting Ability to adapt instructional techniques to meet individual student needs Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and educational support to one student within a single building Collaborate with special education teams and family members to create and implement customized learning plans Utilize adaptive materials and assistive technologies to optimize the student's learning experience Maintain progress records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
