What You'll Bring:
Active Illinois LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) License Experience with high school students desirable Strong background in IEP creation, execution, and monitoring Solid organizational skills and clear, effective communication Ability to partner seamlessly with general and special education colleagues
Your Key Responsibilities:
Deliver special education services in both self-contained and co-taught high school classes Support students primarily in English Language Arts and Mathematics, with contributions in Social Studies and Science Develop and monitor IEP goals, ensuring progress is tracked and communicated Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment Collaborate proactively with families, administrators, and team members Maintain accurate student documentation and records
