05/20/2026 Lake Forest Elementary School District 67 is seeking June Summer School Learning Behavior Specialists 1 (5-7 ESY). Teachers will be paid $50/hour for instruction and $25/hour for planning. Please see the attached Summer School schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as the special education teacher for assigned students Implements IEP goals and objectives and accommodations Plans lessons and prepares instructional materials Presents lessons effectively Provides for differences of individuals and groups Evaluates student achievement effectively Interacts with students in a manner that encourages respectful relationships among students and teachers Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations with staff Works cooperatively with school personnel to benefit students Communicates effectively with parents to enhance the learning process by responding to or initiating parent contacts in a timely, professional and constructive manner Executes Board of Education and building policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I endorsement
