This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 17 through May 27, 2027, allowing you to make a difference in young learners' lives while developing your professional skills in a supportive work environment. As the on-site specialist, your focus will be on guiding middle school students through essential technology concepts and applications, helping to prepare them for success in a digital world.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a closely related field Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate technology endorsement(s) Passion for curriculum design and classroom instruction Ability to bring creativity and structure to lesson planning Strong written and verbal communication skills Dedication to fostering a positive and safe learning space
What You'll Do:
Plan and deliver engaging technology curriculum for 7th and 8th grade students Adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners Assess and document student growth and achievement Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities Collaborate with colleagues and support school-wide initiatives Maintain open communication with students, families, and administration Uphold the school's culture and behavioral expectations The position is based fully onsite, providing daily opportunities to interact with students and colleagues face-to-face in a dynamic educational environment.
