This full-time, contract role will support elementary-level students for the duration of the 26/27 school year, working within a collaborative and resourceful educational environment near Mchenry, IL. As a valued educator, you'll shape students' futures by designing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with IDEA and Illinois state regulations. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues, administrators, and families to support each student's unique journey. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement (LBS1) Previous teaching experience is preferred Solid grasp of current educational methodologies and instructional techniques Strong understanding of child development theories and practices
