Job Description

Overview Pleasant Hill School District #69 is seeking a dependable, flexible, and student-centered Full-Time Building Substitute to join our team. This position plays an essential role in ensuring continuity of instruction and support for students by serving in a variety of classrooms and educational settings throughout the school year. Duties Report to school each day by 7:45 a.m. and remain until 3:05 p.m. Work the same 180-day school calendar as teachers. Serve as a substitute in PreK through 8th grade classrooms, including general education, special education, specialist classrooms, and MTSS settings. Fill assignments as either the classroom teacher or paraprofessional , depending on district needs. Complete duties or special projects assigned by administration on days when substitute coverage is not needed.

Compensation & Benefits Annual Salary:

$35,000 Eligible for district benefits 12 sick days per 180-day contract (prorated based on start date) 3 personal days per 180-day contract (prorated based on start date) This is a non-union position Qualifications Must hold a valid Illinois Substitute Teaching License .
