Responsibilities Assist in implementing curriculum development tailored to various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment Engage children in age-appropriate activities focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and achievements Collaborate with lead teachers to plan lessons that promote childhood development and early intervention strategies Maintain safety standards by following mandated reporting laws, first aid protocols, and child welfare guidelines Adapt quickly to different classroom settings, providing consistent care and instruction as needed Requirements Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care, preschool teaching, and special education practices Strong classroom management skills and experience with behavior management techniques Ability to develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with childhood development milestones and standardized testing methods Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain) Demonstrated understanding of mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies Prior classroom experience in private or public school environments is preferred Passion for early intervention, literacy education, math instruction, and physical activity for young children Join us at SCC Early Childhood Centers where your enthusiasm fuels young minds!
