Onsite Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction to support students with disabilities in achieving their educational goals. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs. Implement accommodations and modifications to support student access to the general education curriculum. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational records and documentation. Collaborate with families, educators, related service providers, and support staff to promote student success. Support students' academic, social, behavioral, and functional development within the school environment. Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other school-based collaboration activities.
Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement Experience working with students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs preferred Knowledge of IEP development, special education regulations, and evidence-based instructional practices Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to differentiate instruction and implement accommodations and modifications Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
