Infant Montessori Teacher (Ages 0-3) A fulfilling opportunity awaits an enthusiastic and nurturing educator to guide infants and toddlers through their formative years in a Montessori setting. This contract position, located near Waukegan, IL, is ideal for a teacher who values creating a respectful, developmentally appropriate, and curiosity-driven classroom for children aged 0-3. Qualifications:
Montessori Infant/Toddler Credential from a MACTE-accredited program (AMS, AMI, or equivalent) High school diploma or GED Meets Illinois DCFS staff qualification requirements
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Solid understanding of human growth and development from birth to age 3 Familiarity with Montessori philosophy, teaching methods, and use of materials Experience with observation, documentation, and assessment of young children's needs Ability to design individualized learning experiences within a classroom setting Commitment to fostering an inclusive, culturally sensitive environment
