Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to three-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports social-emotional development. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and foster curiosity, independence, and problem-solving skills. Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure safety, engagement, and inclusive participation among all children. Collaborate with families through regular communication about each child's progress, milestones, and any special educational needs such as early intervention or special education requirements. Support children's welfare by implementing best practices in childcare, toddler care, and childhood development principles. Track and record daily activities and developmental milestones. Requirements Must be 18 years of age Proven classroom management skills with experience teaching preschool or daycare-aged children in a licensed setting. Strong knowledge of early childhood education theories Experience working with children who have special educational needs or require early intervention services is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum plans that incorporate math, physical education, and other core subjects suitable for three-year-olds. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
