Western Intermediate School Special Education Teacher 26-27 School Year
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Meets professional responsibilities. 2. Plans and organizes instruction to achieve general and course proficiencies. 3. Provides effective instruction using a variety of strategies, which bring about desired student proficiencies. 4. Assesses student progress and maintains records and communicates ongoing student progress. 5. Organizes and manages the classroom environment to maximize learning. 6. Demonstrates effective communication skills with students, parents, and community. 7. Demonstrates effective people skills.
SALARY/BENEFITS
According to the salary schedule and benefit package per agreement of Western School Corporation and Western Education Association.
