In this important role, you will inspire and guide young learners during a crucial stage of early childhood development. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment where children learn through play while building confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Duties Lead the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities tailored to three-year-old children. Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages social-emotional growth, independence, creativity, and learning through play. Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance and effective behavior management techniques. Collaborate with families to communicate student progress, address individual needs, and support each child's overall development and well-being. Plan and lead daily classroom activities, including literacy, early math, sensory play, art, music, physical activity, and hands-on learning experiences. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff to maintain high-quality early childhood education standards. Observe and assess developmental milestones to help guide instruction and support individual learning needs. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and classroom observations. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that promotes child welfare and safety. Requirements Previous experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong understanding of child development, classroom management, curriculum planning, and early childhood education practices. Knowledge of early intervention techniques, behavior management strategies, and social-emotional learning. Experience with literacy development, early math instruction, physical activity, and toddler/preschool classroom routines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and staff. Prior experience in a private school or daycare setting is preferred. Ability to lead a classroom team while fostering a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
