Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications:
Active Kansas K-12 teaching license required Recent experience in Special Education, with a commitment to inclusive teaching practices Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff and families Ability to adapt to varying learning environments and student needs Reliable transportation for traveling between campuses Organization and flexibility to navigate a changing caseloadResponsibilities:
Deliver individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with a range of needs Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth through evidence-based strategies Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff at multiple sites Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of student progress and IEP goals Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and challenges Participate in relevant meetings, professional development, and compliance activities This contract position provides the autonomy to manage your schedule while positively impacting students at several unique schools.
