Kiddie Academy of Olathe is looking for a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team! Position Summary As the Lead Teacher , you will be responsible for creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for students. We support students ages 6 weeks of age to 4 years of age and are actively hiring for a wide range of classrooms. The lead educator will be in charge of: Implementing developmentally appropriate activities using the Kiddie Academy Life Essentials preplanned proprietary curriculum Engage hands on with students to educate them through play. Create a nurturing and responsive environment that prioritizes the safety and well-being of each child Maintain consistent and professional communication with parents regarding milestones, routines, and daily updates Observe and document children's developmental progress Collaborate with assistant teachers and other staff Maintain classroom cleanliness and follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines Support potty training and other transitional milestones as appropriate Attend training and professional development as required Qualifications Must meet Kansas licensing requirements for Infant Lead Teachers CDA in Early Childhood Education is required Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong knowledge of infant development and responsive caregiving practices Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills Passion for early childhood education and commitment to creating a positive classroom culture What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications Paid time off and holidays Health, dental and vision insurance 401 K and matching Attendance Bonus Professional development and advancement opportunities Discounted childcare tuition Supportive leadership and a collaborative team environment A purpose-driven career where you make a difference every day!
