Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is available for a Gifted Secondary Teacher serving secondary students in two buildings within the Spring Hill area. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite, supporting gifted education programs for middle and high school students during the 2025-2026 academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to gifted secondary students. Collaborate with general and special education teachers to develop appropriate curriculum and learning plans. Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Participate in meetings and professional development activities related to gifted education. Support the academic and social-emotional growth of gifted students within the school environment.Qualifications and Experience:
Valid teaching license with a Gifted endorsement is required. Experience teaching secondary education students, preferably with a focus on gifted education. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere.Location:
Onsite position within Spring Hill, Kansas, covering secondary programs at two school buildings. This is not a travel or remote position; candidates must work at the designated school sites.Benefits:
