Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Previous experience with PreK-12 populations (preferred) Strong understanding of accommodations, IEP processes, and educational planning for students who are deaf or hard of hearing Ability to collaborate with staff, families, and students to ensure successful learning outcomes
Responsibilities:
Support a manageable caseload of 8 students across PreK-12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct instructional support and communication strategies Advocate for student needs within school teams Monitor and document student progress Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
