Job Description

We are looking for a positive, flexible, and dependable Support / Extended Care Teacher to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day, loves working with children of different ages, and thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment. In this role, you'll be an essential part of our school—supporting classrooms throughout the day and helping lead a fun, safe, and engaging aftercare program. You'll step in where needed, build meaningful connections with students, and help create a calm, organized, and joyful atmosphere from morning through the end of the day.
What You'll Do:
Support classrooms to maintain proper staff-to-child ratios Provide coverage for teacher breaks and transitions Assist with classroom activities, supervision, and organization Build positive relationships with children and support their development Lead and supervise children during aftercare hours Plan and engage students in fun, age-appropriate activities (arts, games, outdoor play) Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Follow all childcare licensing and safety requirements
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children preferred Ability to work with multiple age groups Flexible, dependable, and a strong team player Positive attitude and strong communication skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
