He or she will promote a loving, nurturing, and inclusive Christian community through daily interactions with students, staff and families while teaching lessons that meet the children's academic, emotional, social and spiritual needs. What You'll Do Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lessons in daily classes Create a comfortable and secure environment by setting clear limits, establishing routines and structure Along with the assistant teacher, assist in meeting the age-appropriate physical needs of the children in the classroom (feeding, diapering, toileting, etc) Complete bi-annual student assessments to present to parents at parent-teacher conferences Model and encourage positive social skills Participate in staff training and complete state required professional development Maintain professional conduct, appearance, and attitude Requirements Education/Experience High School Diploma or GED Experience in early childhood education or a related setting Other relevant experience Physical Requirements Ability to navigate stairs Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Leave Retirement Plan Child Care Discount Professional Development
